Arrived at the hotel and was greeted by a very friendly and polite receptionist, lovely hotel, room was situated on the top floor with a spectacular view across the river. Arrived down to breakfast at 10:35, tried to make a coffee for myself and partner however, machine was not working, I approached a waitress who could not speak English very well and she discovered the coffee machine had run out of coffee, she refilled this. There was no fruit left, no bread and the cooked breakfast was practically non existent, the few items that were available were dry and had obviously been sitting there for quite a long time. My partner approached a young waiter and asked if there was the possibility of bringing any more out, he did not appear to be happy or helpful, he said he would bring out some more, he came out with half a loaf of bread and some hash browns. My partner and myself went and sat down, the waitress carried a small plate of scrambled egg over to our table , obviously heated up from earlier. My partner complained and the young waiter became very rude, he really needs some training on customer service. We left the restaurant after being offered a late check out which we declined and made our way to our room and checked out, we then drove to The Swan and had a lovely breakfast which of course we had to pay for once again. Verdict. A lovely place to stay, breakfast, well no comment we were unable to eat there, staff member in the restaurant, rude beyond belief.

Having a very good stay at the hotel and there is one lady that is very outstanding and this is love leen ... she is very very polite always smiling no matter how busy it gets she never shows pressure and does her job with the best of her performance love leen is a great credit to the hotel and every hotel would be much better off if they all gad such a great employee like love leen . She is an amazing person so a big big thank you

Loveleen such a great and wonderful person great service and friendly always happy and smiling every day, a great asset to the hotel she deserves a promotion. She has made my stay a pleasure. Highly recommend hotel would definitely return.
